Felicity jones is a British actor who is best known for the role of Jane Hawking. She played Jane Hawking of Jane Hawking in The Theory of Everything, that was critically acclaimed. Jones began acting at the age 12 and worked on numerous TV shows, plays, and films. Her first job was as a TV actress on The Treasure Seekers. Later, in The Worst Witch she played Ethel Hallow. Then came Weirdsistersisters Sisters, a sequel of The Worst Witch. She played Young Ruth as her debut film Flashbacks of a Fool. Then, she appeared in various films. The actress gained acclaim for her acting in movies including The Invisible Woman and The Amazing Spider-Man 2. It was however her character on The Theory of Everything' that won her an Oscar nomination the very first time. Jones' portrayal as Stephen Hawking's wife in this biopic based on his life, was praised both by critics and viewers. The film was followed by Inferno an action film starring Tom Hanks. In 2016, the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles selected Jones for the position of British Artist of The Year because of her talents and contribution to cinema.
