Mary Marg Helgenberger was born in 1958. She began her acting career during the 1980s. Her role as Siobhan Ryan, a daytime soap-opera called Ryan's Hope in 1982-1986 was what made her the focus by the media. The Columbia University Bachelors of Art History degree was obtained in 2007. The year after, McCain joined The View as a daytime co-host. McCain is also an Daily Mail contributor after her 3 years on The View.
