Annie Mist Thorisdottir hails from Iceland, Reykjavik. She is a CrossFit pro-athlete. She also trains and coaches in Crossfit Reykjavik, where she is co-owner. Annie is the only woman ever to win CrossFit Games on two occasions. Annie was second in both the CrossFit Games of 2010 CrossFit Games and the 2014 CrossFit Games. Annie Thorisdottir, the Icelander weightlifter, CrossFit athlete and a media celebrity is one of the CrossFit athlete from Iceland. She won CrossFit Games 2011 and 2012 twice as the first women. The other accomplishments she has achieved includes winning the Dubai Fitness competitions in 2017 and 2013. Annie was born and raised up in Reykjavik Iceland along with her parents as well as her siblings. Being a sports and fitness enthusiast since an early age, she took part in various school games and also won numerous awards. In 2009, she competed in CrossFit events in California. Her first results were quite impressive. Annie Thorisdottir is, in 2021, was aged 31. She is 5'7" tall, and weighs 67 kilograms. Annie began her CrossFit adventure in California in 2009. Annie was able to do quite well through the first couple of games. She finished amongst in the top 10 among over 70. However, she didn't win a title and finished with a 11th-place finish in the event. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. In CrossFit Games under the guidance of her coach Jami Tikkanen, she placed in seconds place and won a silver medal in the same year. After one year full of CrossFit Games, Annie won her first CrossFit Games. Her dominant performances was enough to earn her the title. Annie also won her place in the CrossFit Games in 2012 due to her exceptional performance. It was her first time as a female athlete to win two CrossFit Games at once. In 2014, Annie won a Silver Medal and most recently, in 2021 she was awarded Bronze at the CrossFit Games. Presently Annie coaches and trains at Crossfit Reykjavik which was started by her. Annie is an athlete on the rise who has appeared as the spokesperson for many brands such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs, Renaissance Periodization, Nuun Hydration as well as Sidekick Yerbae. Some 2,000 people have subscribed to her self-titled Youtube Channel, where training videos as well as travel and family videos are uploaded.
